Behind the lens with Ace high photography
As the bitter winds of January relented, February beckoned with promises of new beginnings and creative ventures. It was on the 18th of this month that I found myself eagerly anticipating a styled shoot organized by Ace High Photography. Originally planned for January, our plans had been changed by an unexpected blizzard that blanketed Iowa in a frosty embrace. But with determination and a sprinkle of patience, we rallied once more, ready to capture the essence of our vision.
Gathered together with the concept of a turquoise cowgirl styled shoot. Models Blue Twister and Chantel exuded confidence as they effortlessly slipped into character, embodying the spirit of the Wild West with each pose and gesture. Against the rustic allure of the setting sun, their silhouettes danced, painting a portrait of untamed beauty against the canvas of the prairie sky at Jester Park.
Amidst the click of shutters and the whir of lenses, camaraderie blossomed among fellow photographers. Sharing tips, tricks, and tales from behind the lens, we forged connections that transcended the confines of the shoot itself. Each frame captured not only a moment frozen in time but also the essence of collaboration and shared passion.
As the golden hour waned and the last rays of sunlight went away, we reluctantly wrapped up the shoot, our memory cards brimming with treasures waiting to be unveiled. But the adventure was far from over. With appetites whetted and spirits high, we reconvened for a post-session celebration at a local sushi joint.
Around the table, stories were shared, friendships solidified, and plans for future collaborations were whispered in hushed tones. In that moment, amidst the warmth of camaraderie and the promise of new beginnings, we found solace in the simple joys of shared experiences.
As the night drew to a close and we bid farewell to newfound friends, I couldn't help but reflect on the day's events with a sense of gratitude and contentment. From the frosty plains of January to the vibrant hues of February, our journey had been one of resilience, creativity, and above all, community.
